Out Of The Box is a trilogy of workshops exploring new, creative ways to shape encounters, intimacy, and sexuality—moving beyond the familiar and the often-repeated. The workshops span three thematic areas, opening up new worlds of experience through diverse strategies, the learning of techniques, and ample time for experimentation and self-discovery. In doing so, we also explore the boundaries of our comfort zones and engage with practices from BDSM and kink. In this way, by consciously and joyfully opening ourselves up, we develop new playing fields for encounters with ourselves and others.
In the first workshop of the trilogy, slowness becomes the guiding concept of our explorations. It leads to fundamental changes in our perception on all levels, both physical and mental. Then we can not only examine what we experience in greater detail and grasp it in all its facets and qualities. Rather, slowness itself becomes an instrument of intensification—delay can be so wonderfully pleasurable!
Using elements of meditation and breathwork, we slow down and explore encounters and touch in a playful way during the course. We discover our own bodies and those of others and learn more about how we deal with pleasure and displeasure, the diversity of what we enjoy or what we do not like. In this way, we also scrutinize the images we have of ourselves and of one another, allow themes such as pride and shame to emerge, and seek to question personal and societal patterns and expectations. Using slowness as a strategy and tool, we then increase the intensity, consciously approaching boundaries and challenges to get to the bottom of the relationship between pleasure and pain. Our goal in all of this is to find out more about what we—regardless of how we are seen or judged from the outside—truly want, what feels good and right for us, and how we can joyfully put it into practice.

NOTES ON THE EVENT
— The goals of our events are collaborative learning within the group, supporting shared processes, and personal development. Couples and all other types of partnerships or group dynamics are welcome, but you should be aware and open to the fact that the courses are not designed as partnership experiences and that we address each person as an individual. An example: To include all participants equally, we usually work with random partner combinations during the exercises. This means that both same-sex and mixed-sex combinations will occur. Participants should generally be open to working with every person and every body. Exceptions can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
— Gender identity, sexual orientation, age, etc., are not criteria for registration or participant selection.
— We expect you to act with care, communication, consent, and mindfulness, and we encourage you to respect your own boundaries and take personal responsibility.
— Hate speech will not be tolerated. Please bring “candy speech” with you.
— We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the workshop if their behavior is harmful or problematic, and we reserve the right to do so without explanation—though we will likely try to explain. Workshop fees would then be refunded in full. Any further claims are excluded.
— We do our best to accommodate different needs, but our resources are limited. Please contact us if you have any questions.

COVID-19 RULES & PROCEDURES
We strictly adhere to the currently applicable official regulations and COVID-19 measures and will inform participants of the latest guidelines well in advance of the course start date. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
It is currently impossible to predict how the COVID-19 pandemic will unfold in the coming weeks and months. A renewed ban on events or new, far-reaching restrictions and regulations that make holding the course no longer feasible are conceivable. In the event of a cancellation for these reasons, we would be grateful to all registrants for helping us cover the costs that would still arise, such as ticket booking fees and any cancellation fees for the rented spaces. We would then provide information regarding the specific amount. This support would, of course, be voluntary, but it would be a significant help to us.
