Beata has written a book
For a new sexual revolution that advocates not only for the free expression of desire, but also for the free expression of indifference.
For despite all the admirable and important feminist and sex-positive efforts to break down taboos and overcome shame, one taboo remains deeply shameful: not having sex, not wanting it, or wanting it but struggling with it. Sex is not only suppressed, but in its overloaded form, it also acts as a form of suppression in and of itself. Shouldn’t the radical realization of “Express yourself, don’t repress yourself” also convey this message: “Express your (so-called) impotence; don’t suppress it!”?
"We won't be free from the pain of sex by mastering it, but by learning to fail at it"
