For the preservation and promotion of sexual culture and sex-positive spaces in Berlin

And that's what it's all about (from the petition text):
"We believe that an enlightened, civilized society needs a new se#ual culture based on consensus, communication, diversity and collaboration. That a social climate that values, rewards and promotes qualities such as openness, honesty, empathy, tolerance and helpfulness is needed to facilitate a new quality of social interaction.
This is an opportunity to show the political leaders how many people would like to see state institutions promote our efforts to create a progressive and loving society. In our eyes, an open society is also characterized by cultural reflection on the somatic-se#ual side of human beings.

Sexual culture
- is needed to strengthen public spirit and community and to better understand love and relationships
- combats sexism and prevents violence and abuse
- contributes to health maintenance and reduces consumption and compensation
- combats sexism and prevents violence and abuse
- inspires personal empowerment, deconstructs gender stereotypes, and challenges archaic and heteronormative views of sexuality
- promotes diversity and care for body shapes, ages, origins, relationship types and sexual practices
- expands and spreads sexual knowledge (for ex. safer sex practices) and encourages us to be happy and fulfilled sexual beings.
The work of venues, organizations and individuals in Berlin, which advocate for a progressive and socially relevant new sexual culture, has come to a virtual standstill due to corona-related restrictions and is therefore acutely endangered.
Since already existing funding instruments - even apart from Corona - are not effective here, we demand the creation of a "Sexual Culture" section in the funding programs of the Berlin Senate Department for Culture, which is specifically dedicated to supporting these places of learning and experience as well as related projects, organizations, associations and festivals, and which makes it possible to apply for corresponding funding.
We hereby empathically request a conversation with Senator of Culture Lederer, in order to be able to present our concerns to him in a panel of experts. We also strongly request a meeting with Minister of State Grütters to discuss the relevance of sexual culture."
