Intimacy outside of fixed patterns and conventions is fantastic, creative and unpredictable - that's what makes it so appealing, but also quite complex and challenging. In the (AN)OTHER INTIMACY workshops, we want to embark on this adventure! What is there to experience? How do I come up with ideas? How do I find out what my deep needs and longings are? And how do I put them into practice?
In the POWER OF PLAY course, we raise the bar in terms of standards and intensity and focus on play as a method and form of intimate and intense encounter. The basic concept is quite simple: two adults agree to leave the ground of everyday manners and behave differently within agreed limits than they usually do and than would be acceptable in a conventional context. The interest: How do interactions change when we consciously make them playful? What can we learn about ourselves through play? What happens when we set aside fixed goals, our self-criticism and our expectations of ourselves and focus on presence, spontaneity and pleasure? As explorers together, in this course we go beyond the familiar facets of our pleasurable self and also get to know the more hidden ones - our pleasure in power and submission, being overwhelmed and at the mercy of others or pain and restriction. In the process, we can learn a lot about ourselves, rediscover our creative potential and our joy in playful spontaneity and be inspired for new paths and encounters.

Die (AN)OTHER INTIMACY Workshops möchten den Teilnehmenden eine Vorstellung davon geben, was ein spielerischer & alternativer 'sex-positiver' Raum sein könnte, wie wir ihn gemeinsam gestalten und uns durch ihn bewegen können. Dabei liegt der Fokus deutlich jenseits eines normativen Verständnisses von Intimität und Sexualität, das Sex mit Nacktheit, Berührungen rund ums Genitale und irgendeiner Art von körperlicher Penetration gleichsetzen würde. Wir ziehen es vor, uns auf die spielerischen, phantasievollen, performativen und experimentellen Aspekte zu konzentrieren, um eine breite Vielfalt dessen zu berühren, wozu menschliche Körper & Geister fähig sind.
Wir arbeiten mit Tools wie Bodysomatics, dem Beginners Mind, Rollenspielen und BDSM-inspirierten Praktiken und schaffen so vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Spontaneität und Spielfähigkeit zu entwickeln, sich zu trauen herauszufinden, was interessant und gewünscht ist und was definitiv unerwünscht ist, Grenzen zu setzen, sie zu kommunizieren und zu respektieren, aber auch zum einvernehmlichen Spiel einzuladen und Szenen mitzugestalten. Dabei wird das spielerische Experiment sowohl zur Strategie für die Entdeckung neuer Wege der intimen Interaktion als auch zu deren Hauptwerkzeug.

Wir möchten jedoch darauf aufmerksam machen, dass ein realistischer Preis für einen solchen Workshop, wenn man davon leben möchte (wie wir es mit luhmen d’arc durchaus versuchen), eher bei etwa CHF 400,- pro Person liegt.

NOTES ON THE EVENT
The aims of our events are to learn together as a group and support shared processes as well as personal development. Couples and all other types of partnerships or constellations are welcome, but you should be aware and open to the fact that the courses are not designed as partnership experiences and that we address each person as an individual. For example, in order to include all participants equally, we usually work with random partner combinations in the exercises. This means that there will be both the same and different gender combinations. Participants should generally be open to working with any person and any body. Exceptions can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Gender identity, sexual orientation, age or membership of marginalized groups such as BBIPoC, migrants, refugees, LGBTQIA*, people with disabilities etc. are not criteria when registering and selecting participants.
We expect you to be careful, communicative, consent-oriented and mindful, and we encourage you to respect your own boundaries and self-responsibility.
Hate speech will not be tolerated. Please bring "candy speech".
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the workshop should their behavior be hurtful or too problematic, and we reserve the right to do so without explanation - although we will likely try to explain. Workshop fees would then be refunded in full. Further claims are then excluded.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the course, up to four weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 20% of the course fee is due, up to two weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 50% is due. Later cancellations and refunds of participant fees are not possible. However, participants can find substitute participants who will take the booked places. In case of cancellation by the organizer, the course fee will be refunded in full. Further claims are excluded.
