Intimacy that breaks free from set patterns and conventions is fantastic, creative, and unpredictable—that’s what makes it so appealing, but also quite complex and challenging. In the(AN)OTHER INTIMACYworkshops, we want to take this leap of faith! What’s there to experience? How do I come up with ideas? How do I figure out what my deepest needs and longings are? And how do I put them into practice?
In dem Kurs POWER OF PLAY schrauben wir Ansprüche und Intensität ein Stück weit nach oben und rücken das Spielen als Methode und Form der intimen und intensiven Begegnung ins Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit. Die Grundkonzeption ist dabei recht einfach: zwei erwachsene Menschen einigen sich, den Boden alltäglicher Umgangsformen zu verlassen und sich in verabredeten Grenzen anders zu verhalten, als sie es gewöhnlich tun und als es im konventionellen Kontext akzeptabel wäre. Das Interesse: Wie verändern sich Interaktionen, wenn wir sie bewusst spielerisch gestalten? Was können wir beim Spielen über uns selbst lernen? Was geschieht, wenn wir dabei festgesetzte Ziele, unsere Selbstkritik und unsere Erwartungen an uns selbst einmal beiseite lassen und auf Präsenz, Spontaneität und Lust fokussieren? Als gemeinsam Forschende machen wir uns in diesem Kurs über die vertrauten Facetten unseres lustvollen Selbst hinaus, auch mit den versteckteren bekannt – mit unserem Vergnügen an Macht und Unterwerfung, Überwältigung und Ausgeliefertsein oder Schmerz und Restriktion. Dabei können wir viel über uns selbst lernen, unser kreatives Potential und unsere Freude an spielerischer Spontaneität wiederentdecken und uns für neue Wege und Begegnungen inspirieren lassen.

Die (AN)OTHER INTIMACY Workshops möchten den Teilnehmenden eine Vorstellung davon geben, was ein spielerischer & alternativer 'sex-positiver' Raum sein könnte, wie wir ihn gemeinsam gestalten und uns durch ihn bewegen können. Dabei liegt der Fokus deutlich jenseits eines normativen Verständnisses von Intimität und Sexualität, das Sex mit Nacktheit, Berührungen rund ums Genitale und irgendeiner Art von körperlicher Penetration gleichsetzen würde. Wir ziehen es vor, uns auf die spielerischen, phantasievollen, performativen und experimentellen Aspekte zu konzentrieren, um eine breite Vielfalt dessen zu berühren, wozu menschliche Körper & Geister fähig sind.
Wir arbeiten mit Tools wie Bodysomatics, dem Beginners Mind, Rollenspielen und BDSM-inspirierten Praktiken und schaffen so vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Spontaneität und Spielfähigkeit zu entwickeln, sich zu trauen herauszufinden, was interessant und gewünscht ist und was definitiv unerwünscht ist, Grenzen zu setzen, sie zu kommunizieren und zu respektieren, aber auch zum einvernehmlichen Spiel einzuladen und Szenen mitzugestalten. Dabei wird das spielerische Experiment sowohl zur Strategie für die Entdeckung neuer Wege der intimen Interaktion als auch zu deren Hauptwerkzeug.

NOTES ON THE EVENT
The goals of our events are collaborative learning within the group, supporting shared processes, and personal development. Couples and all other types of partnerships or relationships are welcome, but you should be aware and open to the fact that the courses are not designed as partnership experiences and that we address each person as an individual. For example: To ensure that all participants are equally involved, we usually work with randomly assigned partner combinations during the exercises. This means there will be both same-gender and mixed-gender pairings. Participants should generally be open to working with any person and any body. Exceptions can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or membership in marginalized groups such as BBIPoC, migrants, refugees, LGBTQIA*, people with disabilities, etc., are not criteria for registration or participant selection.
We expect you to act with care, be communicative, prioritize consent, and be mindful, and we encourage you to respect your own boundaries and take personal responsibility.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the course, up to four weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 20% of the course fee is due, up to two weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 50% is due. Later cancellations and refunds of participant fees are not possible. However, participants can find substitute participants who will take the booked places. In case of cancellation by the organizer, the course fee will be refunded in full. Further claims are excluded.
