The TEMPLES OF SORROW are a series of events for communal mourning.
At the end of the year and in keeping with the winter solstice, here is another evening to mark the winter solstice. This time the event refers to the end of the year and is less of a mourning ritual, but rather a creative time to find closure from a year that is coming to an end and perhaps for one or the other a break for themselves before the holidays.
What was, what is, what is to come?
Just before the turn of the year, the holidays and the longest night of the year, we invite you to: "Take a little time out from the hustle and bustle, treat yourself to a moment for yourself and look together with us: What was? What is? What is coming?"
From the winter solstice onwards, it becomes lighter again and the darkness slowly gives way to light. A good reason to come together and take a deep breath, arrive and imagine, reflect in this special moment of transition.
What can you expect? Movement, sharing, music, stories and, above all, lots of creativity! We tear, cut, glue, paste over, write, draw and create collages - a colorful game of images, thoughts and feelings. It will be slow and also fast. A little tearing marathon and writing for time and also a gentle, slow journey through the months and seasons.
We bring a lot of material with us, but if you have your own pictures, newspapers, scissors, glue and pens, you are welcome to bring them, as well as your calendar or diary if you like.
We meet on Friday at 18:00, you can come from 17:30 and make yourself comfortable. Small snacks and tea are available on site, if you need more, bring it yourself.

NOTES ON THE EVENT
The aims of our events are to learn together as a group and to support joint processes as well as personal development. Couples and all other types of partnerships or constellations are welcome, but you should be aware and open to the fact that the courses are not designed as partnership experiences and that we address each person as an individual. For example, in order to include all participants equally, we usually work with random partner combinations in the exercises. This means that there will be both the same and different gender combinations. Participants should generally be open to working with any person and any body. Exceptions can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Gender identity, sexual orientation, age or membership of marginalized groups such as BBIPoC, migrants, refugees, LGBTQIA*, people with disabilities etc. are not criteria when registering and selecting participants.
We expect you to be careful, communicative, consent-oriented and mindful, and we encourage you to respect your own boundaries and self-responsibility.
Hate speech will not be tolerated. Please bring "candy speech".
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the workshop should their behavior be hurtful or too problematic, and we reserve the right to do so without explanation - although we will likely try to explain. Workshop fees would then be refunded in full. Further claims are then excluded.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the course, up to 4 weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 20% of the course fee is due, up to 2 weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 50% is due. Cancellations and refunds of course fees at a later date are not possible. However, participants can find replacement participants to take up the booked places. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, the course fee will be refunded in full. Further claims are excluded.
