Beata is organizing the "Reclaiming Romance" Touch&Play event over New Year's

Touch&Playis amazing because it combines the dance form of contact improvisation with BDSM, bodywork, play, and more—the perfect fusion! You learn to interact in a sensual way using your whole body, not just your hands, and to let go of rigid plans. It’s all about improvising :) and that creates genuine connection. We love it!

From December 29 to January 1, Beata is organizing a special T&Pevent at the beautiful, nature-surrounded retreat in Drawehn—located between Berlin and Hamburg. A maximum of 45 people can participate, and we’d like to focus on a special theme: romance! 🥀 Because it currently has a bad reputation. And rightly so! Too often, rose-colored glasses lead to drama, suffering, jealousy, possessiveness, dependency, manipulation, and normative pressures—if you’d like to learn more about this topic, we recommend >> this insightful book by Beatrice Frasel.

But does that mean we have to throw the baby out with the bathwater? Do we have to become super cool and rational? Or can we embrace romance in a way that enchants our daily lives, makes the harshness of the world more bearable, and makes our relationships more caring? Can we queer romance?

We’re looking forward to some very special guests! Because Stina from >> ehrlich leben —the workshop collective led by Sophia Fritz, bestselling author of the book *Toxic Femininity* —will lead an evening ritual together with >> Eva Hanson, who has just released a wonderful >> book on tantric massage.

With her expert guidance , >> Katya will lead the Contact Improvisation workshop every morning. Beata will lead a kinky ritual, and in between, look forward to activities organized by the participants (or bring your own ideas!)—from writing love letters together, dancing tango, and speed-dating with kisses, to a heartbreak first-aid station—anything is possible :)
