Beata organizes the Touch&Play "Reclaiming Romance" over the New Year

Touch&Play is great because it combines the dance form Contact Improvisation with BDSM, bodywork, play and more - the perfect fusion! Because you learn to interact with your whole body, not just with your hands, in sensual play and to refrain from fixed plans. Improvising :) and that creates real encounters. We love it!

From 29 December to 1 January, Beata is organizing a special T&P variant at the beautiful seminar location in the countryside in Drawehn - which is between Berlin and Hamburg. A maximum of 45 people can take part and we want to focus on a special topic: romance! 🥀 Because it currently has a bad reputation. And rightly so! All too often, rose-tinted glasses lead to drama, suffering, jealousy, possessiveness, dependency, manipulation and normative constraints - if you want to find out more about this topic, we recommend >> this clever book by Beatrice Frasel.

But do we have to throw the baby out with the bathwater? Do we have to become super cool and rational? Or can we appropriate the romantic in such a way that it enchants our everyday lives, makes the harshness of the world more bearable and our relationships more caring? Can we queer the romantic?

Because Stina from >> honest living - the workshop collective around the bestselling author of the book Toxic Femininity Sophia Fritz - will create an evening ritual together with >> Eva Hanson, who has just published a great >> book about tantric massages.

Katya will lead the Contact Improvisation workshop every morning with fine expertise. Beata will create a kinky ritual and in between you can look forward to offers from the participants (or bring your own ideas!) - from writing love letters together, dancing tango, speed dating, a heartache first aid station - many things are possible :)
