Beata Absalon introduces this practice of open-source problem solving invented by the artist Valentina Desideri. The roles of therapist and patient are interchangeable. No solution, no cure is intended. The sessions are for those who do not need or want to be fixed. By playing with the therapeutic set-up, we will rethink the concept of (self-)care. Instead of rashly problematizing problems, we will first look at them curiously, non-judgmentally and benevolently as a potential to unfold unimagined thoughts and images through touch and conversation.

The workshop offers an introduction to flogging and other forms of impact play, in which we focus not only on techniques and questions of safety but also on the physical and emotional processes of givers and receivers, as well as the relationship between pain and pleasure. We sharpen our awareness of the dynamic relationships that flogging and impact play create between body and mind and between the participants. Body awareness and spatial perception, movement and rhythm, impulse and resonance, breathing and presence - we look at the game from many different angles and thus create the possibility of shaping a flogging session as a dance or meditative ritual that goes beyond mere hitting.

Calm and vibration, silence and sound, coolness and heat... We discover playing with candle wax as a meditative experience, both in giving and receiving. First we tune our bodies and minds, sensitize our perception, become open and receptive. Finally, we create a ritual together in which we take plenty of time for this intensive experience - with lots of peace and lots of wax!

Feel me, feel me...? - The tactile and haptic sensuality of our bodies puts us in a lifelong and uninterrupted tactile connection with what surrounds us - and with ourselves. Touch is essential, vital and fundamental to who we are and what we are, how we encounter the world and other beings in it. But as central as it is to our identity and our coexistence with other people, in our everyday consciousness it usually appears more as a necessity - to achieve a goal, to fulfill a formality, to make a difference.

Have you ever been on the bus, in the Migros, somewhere in public and wanted to tie it up somehow? Take part in the first 20 minutes after entering the jam to explore "tying up without rope". We'll experiment with using our bodies to move and restrain our counterpart, to give non-verbal signals, to control, restrict and create sweet, precarious "bondage".
