MOUTH MASSAGE: (AN)OTHER PENETRATION

  • IKSK - Institute for Body Research and Sexual Culture - Berlin 25 Holzmarktstraße - House 2 / 4th floor Berlin, BE, 10243 Germany (map)

When was the last time someone really paid attention to your mouth... during a massage? Physically, the mouth and face are teeming with nerve endings and sensitivity. Socially, the face is highly charged. We communicate with it, we try to control it, some cover it in makeup and/or styled facial hair. And our mouth is this fascinating gateway to our insides, a deliciously wet cave with protective teeth and that cheeky little tongue that seems to have a mind of its own.

What happens when we let someone gently touch it, move it, or go inside it?

We’ll explore how to massage the face and mouth—both from the outside and gently on the inside.

In this guided, step-by-step massage workshop, you’ll learn:

  • The basics of facial and oral anatomy (just enough to know where to look and what to avoid)

  • How to create a space where you feel safe enough to let go (because putting your fingers in your mouth is weird unless you're relaxed)

  • Body positioning and how to sit comfortably while giving a massage

  • What kinds of touch feel good—kinky, relaxing, erotic? Adjust the intensity depending on where you want this bodywork to go

  • How to slow down

  • How to communicate consent nonverbally (when your mouth is occupied…)

  • How to maintain good hygiene and, if desired, use gloves

  • Why this type of massage is not just about technique, but about connecting with the client

This is a workshop for anyone who wants to explore a part of the body that we usually overlook during full-body massages. It invites you to be present, playful, and respectful. And to honor the power of this work, we will set aside time at the end for integration.

What happens to you when you let someone open your mouth?

BEATA

is a writer, psychosocial counselor, and workshop facilitator. Her workshops are experiments in engaging with complexity—not resolving it, but viewing it as an invitation: understanding it as a creative, erotic, and powerful source. As a cultural theorist trained in various somatic fields, she draws attention to social contexts, ambiguities, and the aesthetic qualities of intimacy.
Together with Rebecca, she is currently preparing her September retreat, TANTRA WITH A PINCH OF SALT, which reimagines tantra massage through dialogue, not dogma.

NOTES ON THE EVENT

The goals of our events are collaborative learning within the group, supporting shared processes, and personal development. Couples and all other types of partnerships or group dynamics are welcome, but you should be aware and open to the fact that the courses are not designed as partnership experiences and that we address each person as an individual. For example: To involve all participants equally, we usually work with random partner combinations during the exercises. This means that both same-sex and mixed-sex combinations will occur. Participants should generally be open to working with every person and every body. Exceptions can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or membership in marginalized groups such as BBIPoC, migrants, refugees, LGBTQIA*, people with disabilities, etc., are not criteria for registration or participant selection.

We expect you to act with care, be communicative, prioritize consent, and be mindful, and we encourage you to respect your own boundaries and take personal responsibility.
Hate speech will not be tolerated. Please bring "Candy Speech" with you.
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the workshop if their behavior is hurtful or problematic, and we reserve the right to do so without explanation—though we will likely try to explain it. Workshop fees would then be refunded in full. Any further claims are excluded.
We do our best to accommodate different needs, but our resources are limited. Please contact us if you have any questions.

You can read more about this topic here.
