THE PARLOUR ist ein experimentelles Format, ein freier und offener Massage- und Bodywork-Space – inspiriert von den >> Bondage Jams – welcher der Vielfalt der Massageformen und der Freude, sie zu praktizieren und zu erleben, gewidmet ist. Gedacht ist THE PARLOUR nicht gerade für Anfänger:innen und es gibt keinen Unterricht. Vielmehr möchten wir Leute, die schon wissen, was sie tun, sowie erfahrenere und professionelle Bodyworker’innen willkommen heissen, um gemeinsam einen Ort zu schaffen, an dem das Kennenlernen und Austauschen, das Geben und Empfangen, Berühren und Berührt-Werden, Erleben und Experimentieren abseits von Arbeits- oder Aus-, Fortbildungs- und Workshop-Kontexten und von Gesundheits- und Heilungszielen genossen werden kann.
THE PARLOUR ist also ein Raum für freien, praktizierten Austausch in Form von Sessions, in dem alle Formen von Massagen und Massage-Experimenten herzlich willkommen sind. Die Veranstaltung bietet zunächst Gelegenheit für die Besuchenden, sich gegenseitig kennenzulernen, sich über Praktiken und Absichten auszutauschen, um sich dann in den für ihre Vorhaben passenden Konstellationen zusammenzufinden. Für die eigentlichen Sessions, die alle frei gestalten können, bleiben dann mindestens drei Stunden Zeit.
Zu einigen Terminen laden wir Gäste ein, die einen kurzen, etwa einstündigen Input als Inspiration geben - sollte das beim vorliegenden Termin der Fall sein, findest Du Näheres dazu weiter unten.

Im Sinne von Austausch und Kennenlernen gehört zum Konzept die Idee, dass sich die Partner'innen-Konstellationen für die Sessions - zu zweit? zu dritt? zu fünft? :) – erst vor Ort ergeben. Ist Dir das Risiko, vor Ort keinen passenden Menschen zu finden, zu gross? Dann frag doch eine Dir bekannte Person, mit der Du Dir auf jeden Fall eine Session vorstellen kannst, ob sie nicht auch teilnehmen mag – dann könnt Ihr füreinander das Back-up sein.

TANTRA IN MOTION,...
…so heißt ein >> Workshop, den luhmen d’arc gemeinsam mit Amakido Berühungskunst entwickelt hat und mit dem wir schon seit einigen Jahren Bewegung in die klassische Tantramassage bringen. In der Haltung inspiriert von Tango Argentino & Contact improvisation werden Ideen und Bewegungselemente eingeführt, die dynamische Positionswechsel, fordernde Dehnungen oder kraftvolle Umarmungen ermöglichen und unter geschickter Nutzung der Schwerkraft das Massagegeschehen beinahe schon in einen Tanz verwandeln können. Der Input stellt ein paar Grundgedanken zu der Praxis vor und präsentiert eine Sequenz zum mitmachen.
Tantra or not, the techniques can basically be interesting for any intuitive form of massage that works with a lot of physical closeness and on a futon. The sequences to participate in are presented with little clothing or naked with the use of oil. Of course, you can participate just as well clothed - although one or two elements may be more difficult to perform.

FURTHER INFORMATION
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL TO BE BROUGHT ALONG
Futons measuring 160 x 200 cm are available in the studio. They do not have covers. The existing yoga blankets can only be used as covers if you are working largely clothed.
If you are working without or with very little clothing and if you are working with oil or other liquids and staining materials, you must bring your own covers, fixed sheets, waterproof or oil-proof sheets.
When using oil, additional secure bases and/or containers for the oil bottles must be brought and used. No oil may be spilled on the wooden floor. Anyone working with oil may only walk through the studio wearing socks to avoid leaving footprints.
There are also seat cushions, yoga blankets, yoga mats & Airex mats.
All other materials required for your own massage practice must be brought along.
ENTRANCE
The doors are only open at the times mentioned above. You do not enter the studio through the front door, but straight ahead through the high metal gate into the garden and then up a few steps through the large red door. Please take off your shoes outside and take them with you through the studio into the kitchenette and changing room.
SEX FRIENDLINESS
THE PARLOUR is only sex-friendly insofar as nudity, genitalia, arousal and pleasure - for example in the sense of holistic, tantric or Taoist concepts - may play a role; however, practices that pursue the goal of mutual sexual arousal and leave behind the roles of giving and receiving as well as "holding space" are not welcome at THE PARLOUR, unlike at many of our other events.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR EVENTS
The aims of our events are to learn together as a group and support shared processes as well as personal development. Couples and all other types of partnerships or constellations are welcome, but you should be aware and open to the fact that the events are not designed as partnership experiences and that we address each person as an individual. An example: In order to include all participants equally, we usually work with random partner combinations during exercises. This means that there will be both the same and different gender combinations. Participants should generally be open to working with any person and any body. Exceptions can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Gender identity, sexual orientation, age or membership of often marginalized groups such as BBIPoC, migrants, refugees, LGBTQIA*, disabled people, etc. are not criteria when registering and selecting participants. This means that, in principle, everyone is equally welcome and we endeavor to do justice to the respective constellation and different needs, but our resources are limited. If you have any questions in this regard, please contact us.
We expect you to be careful, communicative, consent-oriented and mindful and we encourage you to respect your own boundaries and self-responsibility. Hate speech will not be tolerated. Please bring "candy speech".
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the event should their behavior be hurtful or too problematic, and we reserve the right to do so without explanation - although we will probably try to explain. The workshop fees will then be refunded in full. Further claims are then excluded.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the course, up to 4 weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 20% of the course fee is due, up to 2 weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 50% is due. Cancellations at a later date and refunds of participation fees are not possible. However, participants may find substitute participants to take up the booked places. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, the course fee will be refunded in full. Further claims are excluded.
