OUT OF THE BOX - SENSORY TREAT
In Sensory Treat - the second part of the Out Of The Box workshop series - we devote ourselves entirely to the sensuality of our bodies - seeing, hearing, smelling, touching and tasting. These five modes will guide us through the course, suggesting a movement of rapprochement in this order - because we can already see each other at a great distance, but we can only taste each other in unprecedented immediacy. In all of this, we are inspired by the concept of shoshin, the beginner's mind - a term from Zen Buddhism that refers to an inner attitude of openness, curiosity and the beneficial absence of preconceptions or judgments. In this attitude of not knowing and not knowing, we rediscover our sensorium together, as if we were experiencing the amazing sensory abilities of our bodies for the first time.

SHIBARI BASICS - PARTIAL SUSPENSION
Japanese-style bondage involves suspension bondage, in which the bound person is pulled up and suspended from a hook on the ceiling or a beam using ropes.
