(AN)OTHER INTIMACY - SPACE FOR CONSCIOUS & PLAYFUL ENCOUNTERS

Intimacy away from fixed patterns and conventions is fantastic, creative and unpredictable - that's what makes it so appealing, but also quite complex and challenging. In (AN)OTHER INTIMACY we want to embark on this venture! What is there to experience? How do I come up with ideas? How do I find out what my deep needs and longings are? And how do I put them into practice? What do I definitely not want - and how do I communicate between "Yes!" and "No"? The workshop aims to give participants an idea of what a playful & alternative 'sex-positive' space could be, how we can create it together and how we can...

RETHINKING CONSENT - CRITICAL VIEWS & PERSPECTIVES

In sex-positive spaces, high expectations are placed on consent exercises - but how disappointing it is to admit that they don't deliver what they promise! In recent years, progressive feminist discourses have therefore increasingly criticized consent concepts - "Consent is a necessary floor - but a terrible ceiling" - as they often neither do justice to the complexity of intimate encounters nor serve the project of free sex... Sometimes even the opposite. But what should we do then to finally put a stop to a culture of assault? That's what we want to explore together in this workshop.

QUEER BONDAGE JAM ZÜRICH - PLAYFUL FLYTIME WITH AERIAL OBJECTS - with Newbie Intro

All too often, bondage games take on heteronormative forms - which is fine, but we want to try out inventive ways of experiencing something completely different. Queering - as a verb - stands for the desire for a whole spectrum of: questioning, refreshing, making visible, playing, irritating, celebrating, trying out, liquefying, encouraging, expanding, inventing, solidarizing, mixing, standing by oneself, appropriating, becoming, transforming... At the QUEER BONDAGE JAMS, we therefore want to give more space to creativity in general by...

ORAL MAPPING & DIRTY TALK + + + playSPACE

The day before, at CRITICAL FRIDAY: PASSIONATE FICTION - LITERARY PORNOLOGY, we were mainly inspired by what had already been written - and were perhaps able to take our first tentative steps with our own pornographic language experiments - but in this workshop we want to go one step further and take a very practical approach to the whole thing. DIY! :) In the first part, we will deal - hands on in partner work! - with haptic explorations of our speech tool, the...

SHANTALA HUMMLER & THOMAS TRAUPMANN: PASSIONATE FICTION - LITERARY PORNOLOGY

SHANTALA HUMMLER & THOMAS TRAUPMANN: PASSIONATE FICTION - LITERARY PORNOLOGY

Shantala Hummler and Thomas Traupmann have pornographic literature read (aloud) and invite us to examine its poetic processes more closely: How metaphorical may or how explicit must literary pornography be? What means does it use to affect us readers? How drastic or obscene are these texts? To what extent do they programmatically test the limits of what is acceptable? The history of modern pornography should also be made visible as a genuinely literary history. Together we want to reflect on the topicality and traditional lines of contemporary productions of the pornographic. In this way, we would like to explore writing styles, narrative forms and figurations, but also the political quality of pornography in literature.
